WHO WE ARE

This policy applies to the Speedy Reader iPhone app and the website at speedyreader.lol. Questions may be sent to info@speedyreader.lol.

THE IPHONE APP

Text you paste and PDF files you choose are processed on your device. We do not receive or store that content. Personal-best reading speeds are stored locally on your device and are removed when you delete the app.

When you ask the app to import a secure article URL, the app connects to the website you entered to retrieve the page. That third-party website may receive standard connection information, including your IP address, and is governed by its own privacy policy. Speedy Reader does not receive or retain the article request or content.

THE WEBSITE

Pasted text and selected PDF or text files are processed in your browser. Reading history, personal bests, and leaderboard results are saved in your browser’s local storage so they remain available on that device. You can remove this information by clearing site data in your browser.

If you use the website’s URL-import feature, the URL you enter is sent to the Speedy Reader server solely to retrieve and return readable page text. We do not use that URL or returned text for advertising, profiling, or training, and the feature is not designed to store the submitted URL or article content.

HOSTING AND SECURITY DATA

Our hosting provider may process limited technical information—such as IP address, browser type, request time, and security events—to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and maintain reliability. We do not use this technical information to track you across apps or websites or to serve targeted advertising.

SHARING AND SALES

We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not share reading content with advertisers or data brokers. Information may be disclosed only when required by law, to protect users and the service, or to providers that operate the service under appropriate obligations.

CHILDREN

Speedy Reader does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and remove it where applicable.

DATA REQUESTS AND CHANGES

Because the iPhone app does not use accounts and stores reading results locally, we generally cannot identify or retrieve that local data. For questions or requests about other information, email info@speedyreader.lol. We may update this policy when the service or legal requirements change and will post the revised date here.
